Our Mission

“Bulgaria is where Bulgarians are, where Bulgarian is spoken.” Our mission is to increase Bulgarian language skills and instill appreciation for their Bulgarian roots in the young generations. We aim to spark a passion for learning and a deep love for Bulgaria, to equip children with the skills to thrive in a fast-paced, global world, while nurturing and celebrating their cultural identity.

Our Goals

We strive to create and foster a meaningful, lifelong connection in children to their Bulgarian heritage through language and culture. The main objective of the school is teaching written and spoken Bulgarian and Bulgarian literature, history, and geography, as well as introduction to traditions, customs, dances, and songs.

We aspire to make our organization the center of the Bulgarian communities around Charlotte. The school organizes and participates in a variety of cultural events such as celebrations of Bulgarian national holidays, presentations, festivals, lectures about Bulgaria to the American public, and others. We plan to extend and invite Bulgarian enthusiasts, aspiring writers and book lovers, dance groups, singers, and artists.
